Cubs – 8 to 10½ Years

Cubs is the third section in The Scouts, after Beavers and before Scouts. A cubs are 8 to 10½ years old.

We run an active and exciting programme every Thursday night, their commitment is recognised by over thirty activity badges. As well as having weekend activities and camps through the year.

Cubs currently meet on a Thursday night between 7:00pm and 8:30pm

Uniform and badge placement

You don’t need a uniform to join. But once you’ve settled in, you’ll start speedily earning badges, and you’ll need to know where to put them!

Cub leaders

All of our leaders are trained volunteers, working to make sure Scouting is safe, inclusive and accessible. Some lead the Pack week in and week out. Others visit occasionally to help run a session or drop in to share their skills.
