Beavers – 6 to 8 Years

Meeting

Beavers are young boys and girls aged between 6 and 8 years old. They belong to the second youngest section in The Scouts.

Our colony is a friendly and active place for you child to join – we will get up to all sorts of things, including day visits, sleepovers, arts and crafts, exploring the outdoors, as well as an adventure packed annual residential or camp.

For our young people it might be their first chance to spend a night away from home in Scouting.

Our Beavers currently meet on a Wednesday Night between 6:15pm and 7:30pm

Beaver leaders

All of our leaders are trained volunteers, working to make sure Scouting is safe, inclusive and accessible. Some lead the Colony week in and week out. Others visit occasionally to help run a session or drop in to share their skills. No matter how much time you have to spare, find out about volunteering on your own terms.
